Amplify Guest Faculty: Ballet

​

Tyler Duncan is a Seattle based multidisciplinary dance artist, choreographer, performerand teacher that has been dancing since 11-years old. Growing up, Tyler spent most ofhis time studying at Westlake Dance Center and Allegro Performing Arts academy. At the age of 16, he started dancing with Ballet Northwest as a guest artist, propelling him into classical ballet technique. Professionally, Tyler has danced with Z.Theory and AIM Collective, and has had the opportunity to dance in both the Men in Dance Festival and Boost Dance Festival.

 

Under the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship, he is continuing his studies at The Juilliard School in New York, to help him grow as a leader and educator in the arts. He aims to develop his student’s technical range, while encouraging them to make independent choices, challenge themselves and bring awareness to the body.
